On Friday, May 30th at approximately 11pm EDT, Widomaker will begin transitioning its backbone connections to our more robust and redundant connections. We anticipate the switchover to be completed by 4am Saturday May 31st at the very latest. During this period of down time, we will also perform maintenance on some of our servers as to keep service interruption at a minimum.
During this time period, we anticipate limited or no access to personal web pages, e-mail, Widomaker.com homepage; limited or no access to Widomaker hosted web sites, mail services, and control panel maintenance.
Please note that due to our recent changes with our DSL and dial-up services, connectivity will not be affected and you will still be able to use the internet as normal, with the exception of e-mail. Also, e-mail will not be lost during this time period, it will just be inaccessible. We will be queuing the mail and once the changes have been implemented, mail will be delivered as normal.
We would like to apologize in advance for any inconvenience this may cause our users, but please know that this change is necessary to permit for future growth and new improved services. We will have a team of our staff working on this throughout the transition to make sure to the best of our ability that the transition goes as smoothly as possible.
Please feel free to contact our office if you have any questions or experience any issues after the maintenance window.
Best regards,
The Widomaker Support Team
